This is a comparative analysis of 3 global data sets.  Recognising the need for better quality data to support disaster preparedness and mitigation, the ProVention Consortium of the World Bank Disaster Management Facility, initiated a consolidated effort to evaluate the quality, accuracy and completeness of three global disaster data sets.
