Drought Timing for Agronomic Screening

CIAT's award-winning ArcGIS Server application: Drought Timing for Agronomic Screening has been updated to the Adobe Flex platform.

From the application help:

This application uses MarkSim to simulate 1000 replicate years to plot the probability of observing a drought stress after any given sowing date as calculated by WATBAL.The stress is measured as Ea/Et falling below a threshold during a 10 day period measured at a specified number of days after sowing. The crop factor for Watbal is calculated as a straight line increase from 0.2 to 1.0 from sowing until canopy closure after a specified number of days. The water holding capacity of the soil is taken from the FAO soil mapping unit relevant to the point selected.
