Mapping Zoonotic Diseases and Poverty

ILRI published a report “Mapping of Poverty and Likely Zoonoses Hotspots” (2012), including spatial analysis on the mapping of poverty, zoonoses and emerging livestock systems in order to better understand why zoonotic diseases (which is shared by animals and people) matter, to whom and how much. This map shows the linkages between zoonoses and the poor livestock keepers in Africa, South Asia, and some in Southeast Asia.
